e, Rachel and her friends watch the Twelve Days of Christmas Parade through the streets of Chester. It’s a parade that happens every year when the Christmas lights are switched on the Christmas market is opened. Here are some photos from Christmas 2017, when I watched it with my youngest daughter. It’s always a really popular event and the streets are packed with people watching! My photos aren’t great quality, but I thought they would give you a taste of what it was like.
My favourite was the nine ladies dancing. Their skirts are all lit up and they look so pretty.
As well as the Twelve Days of Christmas parade, Chester also do a Winter Watch Parade. This is darker than the Christmas parade and features devils, dragons, a massive angel and a huge Father Christmas. Here’s a great
